MCP, or how models reach your systems

MCP is one protocol between models and tools. Build one server per system and every model that speaks it can use them all, under your permissions.

Every useful agent needs hands: the warehouse, the ticket system, the file share, the internal API. The old way was a custom integration per model per system, a multiplication table of glue code nobody wants to own. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, replaces the table with one contract. A system exposes its actions once, as an MCP server, and any model with an MCP client can discover and call them.

The server is where control lives. It decides which actions exist at all, validates every argument before anything executes, enforces who may call what, and writes the audit log. The model proposes, the server disposes. That boundary is what makes it sane to let a model anywhere near production systems.

We build custom MCP servers for the systems no off-the-shelf catalog covers: your ERP, your homegrown tools, the database with twenty years of quirks in it. One server per system, permissions you set, a log you keep. The assistants your team uses will change. The servers stay yours.
